Edited on Tue Sep-02-03 09:40 PM by BurtWorm
These are all over New York, on the sides of phone booths. Picture it: a black foot branded with the letter "N." Underneath is the text in white against a dark background: "N stands for" and in blue, low contrast type: "fit."

Has anyone seen this ad?

PS: if you saw it, how would it strike you?

1. It would strike me
the same way as it struck you.

Who thinks up these incredibly stupid things anyway??

And where the hell have they been for the past 40 years??

2. I think a boycott is coming
I hope a boycott is coming.

Incidentally, it was only my second thought that this must be a Nike ad.

4. New Balance. . .
Haven't seen the ad, but I've seen similar ones and I'm certain its for New Balance shoes. I'm wearing a pair right now.

One can only wonder what paranoia runs through simple minds. There must be exercises to develop the imagination. Have to look into that. In the meantime, check out www.newbalance.com.
