6. I'm ok with them...
which is good, cause i live in NYC. There was a bridge collapse in my area when I was little, and people died... I've been freaked out about bridges ever since.

I always thought a great public works project would be to convert some of our interstates to bridges when they go through wild areas - then you avoid the deer/etc kills, allow for better wildlife movement, and allow for great scenic views for the motorists. Part if I-90 in the Cascades is a bridge - primarily to avoid avalanches - but briding roads has other benefits too.

9. I saw three deer grazing on the New Jersey Garden State Parkway
Around exit 135 near Cranford--not exactly a "wild" area. "Please, whatever you do, stay out of the road!"

4. I wonder what it's like motoring 700 feet in the air?
I wouldn't feel safe without a parachute.

7. This style of bridge looks so flimsy to me
I guess its because the the suspension posts are on the middle. It doesn't look like there's anything on the sides.

By the way, why does it have to be that tall?

13. weird . . . the first time I accessed that page, it was in French . . .
the second time I clicked on it, it was in English . . . and I haven't been able to figure out how I did that, because it's now all in French again . . . there has to be a key somewhere, but I can't find it . . .
