I'm not watching the Olympics to spare me of that damn Bush ad
Seriously - if I see that SOphie's Choice campaign ad one more time, I'm going to go BALLISTIC.

Yesterday, while enjoying a beer before heading out to the Marley FEstival here in WIlmington, my 2 friends were ogling the women's volleyball game on TV. During a commericial break I heard those familiar but irritating words "I'm George Bush and I approve of this campaign...."

I made my 2 friends shut up and watch the ad. Both of them just dropped their jaws in disgust over the "Which child would they choose first"

Seriously, I love the Olympics - but if I have to watch that garbage for the next 3 weeks, I'll just skip them

1. I know what you are talking about...
I am a self-proclaimed Olympics junkie, and I must have seen that :puke: inducing commercial like 30 times since Saturday. Whatever happened to *'s "I'm not gonna politicize 9/11" policy?

"two more free nations are competing, and two less terrorist regimes" - yes, that's right, he's once again claiming iraq was a terroist regime and i assume hoping people link it to al qaeda and 9/11!

4. Which child would they choose first
Then it was some kind of tie-in with 9/11 or something, laura looking like the joker not saying anything. I hope I don't see that again either.

5. He was running it on Ft. Myers news yesterday
Amidst footage of buildings destroyed. I wonder if it was a special media buy to tap into the "Disaster President" message?
