Is Tom Green relevant any more?
He's on CNBC...well, just was. He was on show after Dean guest hosting.

9. Count yourself blessed if you've never heard of him

He made "Freddy Got Fingered", one of the most sad attempts at gross-out humor ever put on screen.

12. You have to admit, he had a couple of moments.
He once did a bit where he sneaked a painting he'd made himself into an art museum and hung it up. Then, posing as a reporter, he asked a tour group of elderly women what they thought of the painting. One of the women on the tour expressed a preference for landscapes over abstraction, so he produced a magic marker and started drawing trees on the painting. Everyone was appalled, security chased him, yadda yadda -- it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. His famous "Slutmobile" stunt was likewise hilarious.

But apart from the once-in-ten-blue-moons flash of brilliance, he sucked wildly. Juvenile stunts like trying to feed people chest-hair sandwiches, making fun of the accents of non-native speakers of English, humiliating his parents and friends, conducting man-on-the-street interviews with feces-smeared microphones -- he couldn't drop off the radar soon enough for me.

13. He was amazingly unfunny
The thing that struck me about him trying to be funny is that he wasn't.
there was no relevance to his act. It was like the kind of humor where, in response to something people said or did, somone would simply say random words. There was no relevance to what was going on.

14. He was ( and I assume still is) terminally boring...
his program was awful. Now, the "Jackass" movie had a two really great moments: Johnny Knoxville's rental car and the scenes with the guys dressed as elderly people. The difference is that Johnny Knoxville is a funny guy who seems to have a masochistic streak. Tom Green was just annoying as hell.
