BREAKING: JohnKleeb undecided on "nuclear holocaust"
C'mon, JK... it's time to take a stand.

Personally, I'm against it, unless it's on Communists.

7. They had a good memorial service here today.
I didn't go, but my mom did. It was in a very quiet section of beach, and everyone present made origami offerings.... very peaceful.

10. thats nice to know
They should remember it as a lesson, it was a terrible thing, I wont deny that but I think the real debate in my mind is maybe it was nesscary because I believe we would have had to invade Japan and that would have been tough, now if the Japanese were ready to surrender and we dropped the bomb on them despite that, then I'll be for sure against but until then and until I get my time machine, I'll never really know better.

19. If you're interested, Howard Zinn has a pretty strong opinion...
...on the necessity of the second bomb, in his book "Peoples' History of the United States", and he had access to many of the USAF archives when he was an officer.

26. You know, I finally read "Redbook"...I don't understand what...
...all the fuss is about!

I mean, it's even published by Hearst!

I can't imagine why Chairman Mao would want to have everyone in China to know the "Mommy Diet", but what do I know?

27. hah you nearly made me choke on my taffy man
Yeah, my ma subscribes to redbook, I dont think Mao would be very proud either. Well you know maybe Mao cares about the women after all, I am sure the women of China will love the mommy diet and reading about Paula Abdul and Tim McGraw.

after growing up in NC, I really miss the coast, any coast! We actually spent a lot of time on the Outer Banks, but it's been so long, I don't think I'd ever want to go back.
