Edited on Thu Aug-05-04 06:32 PM by NightTrain
NOTE: I'm saving the Isley Brothers and Gladys Knight & The Pips for my upcoming '70s poll.

14. You left out the Spinners too...
I just got reminded because of a commercial on TV with "Rubberband Man" for the music.

That was, after all, when the Spinners had their biggest hits!

10. The Temps for sure
Even though they had more hits in the 50's, the Coasters were still good in the 60's.

16. Gotta go with the Four Tops
My great love listed here would be Martha Reeves and the Vandellas -- but the Tops just have WAY too many classic, monster hits to vote against them.
The Temptations were great, too -- but the Tops trump 'em, IMHO.
John
From Saginaw -- Stevie Wonder's birthplace AND home of Question Mark and the Mysterians ("96 Tears"), too. Hey ? and the boys only had one big hit -- but 96 Tears was as big as they come.

19. The Temps
Temps are the best, but I had a Supremes 33 that I would just put on for cleaning the apartment and simply get dizzy. Best dancing with a broom category.
