I missed the first day of the convention because I was near Boston...

I live in Ontario, 8 hours from Boston. During the first day of the convention, I was on vacation in Gloucester, 35 miles NE of Boston on Cape Ann with no way of listening to the convention.

We did not go into Boston for logistical reasons (which would have existed whether or not there was a convention) even though my step-dad and I wanted to and did not get home until Tuesday evening.
