Hi all!
Just saw this last night as a featured doc at the Maine Int'l Film Festival up here in Waterville...featuring the Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, The Band, Flying Burrito Bros & MANY others...
The idea was that instead of having people come to a centralized Woodstock, the train would go to five different cities in Canada & bring the show to the people...
AMAZING performances all around...I've NEVER seen better films of Joplin...Cry Cry Baby had the audience absolutely freaking....The Flying Burrito Bros rocked greatly, and the Band were incredible. One of my favorites were Ian & Sylvia's Great Speckled Bird doing CC Rider...she had the coolest voice!!!
Anyways, I really liked it...I don't think it's been released "wide" yet, but it's been out on the festival circuit for the last year...
