I saw the Wailers last night!
It was amazing. They did a great job, and the PLACE WAS JUMPIN! I'm proud of my people too, cause they showed all their love and peopleness. It was a wonderful evening!

My spirit is refreshed, my soul satisfied.

We're gonna chase those crazy ball-heads out of town!

5. They definitely WAILED
The vocalist was good -- he didn't try to be Bob (who could) but he was authentic, and had conviction. Family Man was there, and the drummer KICKED.

And I wish they had done "Guiltiness." One of my favorites.

They are the big fish
Who always try to eat them
The small fish
I'm just a small fish
BUT I'LL TELL YOU WHAT

THEY'LL EAT THE BREAD OF SORROW!!

The other cool thing was that the place was packed with people young and old and we all sang along. It was the most amazing, beautiful crowd I've seen since my last war protest. :-)

6. Oh, I thought you meant you saw the WAILERS!
Y'know, the Tacoma rockers...

So, you saw the Wailers of "Bob Marley and..." but Marley and Tosh are dead? Is Bunny Wailer still alive? Did he play with them?

I am CONFUSED!

7. It is the "reconstituted" Wailers
No Marley, no Tosh, no Bunny. Just Family man and some other members who had played with the band at various times, and some new people.

It's as close as you can get these days. :-)
