How old is too old to wear a miniskirt?

Assuming your legs are toned and looking relatively nice. If you're not really advertising, but just happy to look nice, would you?

10. I have a friend who is 60, and she just won a body-building contest...

she dresses conservatively at home, but when they go to Cozumel (where I met her and her family), she wears short shorts and miniskirts, and parties like a teeny-bopper! And her husband (who is 17 years younger than her) loves all the attention his li'l hottie wife gets too!

11. It really is based on how you look

rather than a number, but too many people delude themselves that they still look good (in a mini, for instance) when in reality the should have taken up wearing something else years ago.

Probably the best way to find out would be to post a photo where no one would know it was you. And be prepared for brutally honest comments.

I've always been amused by women who try to dress in excessively 'young' styles and end up looking silly - I mean like the 40 year old school girl thing, not trying to imply that everyone over 40 has to wear a muu-muu. So I guess if it's just a question of length then go for it, but if it's one of those trendy little pastel, asymmetrical, tiered things then you may want to think carefully. Of course, ultimately it doesn't matter what other people think - if you feel happy, comfortable, and sexy then go for it, and people who don't approve can suck eggs.

I knew this woman at this place I used to work. She was 38 and looked like 20-something. She still had the cuteness of youth. One time, I saw her bend over and a little bit of a thong popped out. I couldn't help but feel a little turned on by it. I certainly would not have minded seeing her in a miniskirt. Don't think I am a pervert. I am 24 and have seen many women in their 30's 40's and even 50's who are absolutely beautiful and could turn heads dressing that way. So go for it. I am sure you are quite a looker from the way you describe yourself. I am a legs guy myself too.

No reason not to wear a mini skirt if you have the legs for it. Some 16 year olds can't wear a mini, some 50 year olds can. The legs need to be toned, not spaghetti sticks, so be honest with yourself. But if your legs truly look good, no problem!

There is such a thing as age-appropiate dressing, but one has to take into consideration personality and style.

Basically if you are a very trendy and hip person(disregarding age) go for it. But if you are 65 wearing a minskirt that is 4inches above the knee, don't leave the house. Instead try a nice knee-length pencil skirt.

I'm 32 (with a younger face) and a size 8-10 with toned, muscular legs. I was just having some odd, insecure moment last night. I know I'd look fine. Maybe just a bit too fine at times again and I'm a mommy too.
Maybe I can put on that denim mini skirt, a tank top, and f*ck with one of their heads for once though. :7 Not really me, but it's an idea anyway.
