Law and Order fans: Lenny's last show is tonight!
How will they send him off?

He's on the spinoff, so he can't die. I guess he can get shot and recover by next season. Maybe he will get in some hot water like Logan. Or maybe he will get totally pissed and storm out.

I can't wait!

1. In the previews I have seen, it looks like he retires.
It looks like he's getting a certificate of some kind.

Is he a cop in the spinoff, or a private detective, or something else?

2. Which spinoff?
I saw a preview and he was leaving carrying a box.

I LOVE all of the Law and Order shows.

11. Lenny perfected the sarcastic, titles lead-in line
now a staple of crime shows. Grissom and Brass usually sound like they are forcing their lines. And Caruso's lines are just awful.

Hopefully, Lenny will continue the high standard on the spinoff.

Who will be his new partner?

16. Caruso reminds me of velveeta cheese

Dunno why they make him deliver such weak lines. Grissom is cool and hates the franchise idea and might not resign with CSI because of it.

6. Hehe. Was watching Beauty and the Beast with my kids the other day...
and lo and behold, Lumiere, singing "Be our Guest" is voiced by Jerry Orbach. Will be sorry to see him go from Law and Order.

13. Just What We Need... YET Another L&O Spin Off...
Starting next season, there will be FOUR Law & Order's on the air.

-- Allen

I guess that's better than MORE "Dateline's", yes?

15. Slightly OT, but
Was it just me, or was last night's L&O:SVU really lame?

How many silly plotlines could they squeeze into one scheme? First it's a guy w/a camera in public toilets, then he disppears for a supposed rape of a young boy, then it turns out the boy is raped by a woman, then his drunken mom is the issue, then . . .

Ends up as a caricature of the Mary Kay LeTouneau case, only this woman has a tumor that makes her molest young boys, then it's removed and she's OK--big dilemma on this one is whether to prosecute her--that lasts about 45 seconds--then it turns out SHE was molested, then . . .

Were they slapping together all the story lines they had leftover at the end of the season?

18. All that and more
Let's see, the abuser was pregnant with her 14 year-old victim's baby by the end, so they took her off to jail because she violated the restraining order to call him and tell him.

Oh, did I mention she also sexually assaulted the male cop in interrogation (what is his name? played by Chris Meloni?)

Anything I'm forgetting, fans? It was really bizarre watching it.
