perhaps? Maybe even a several part series in which Mac is captured, and becomes a slave to Sadr. Harm to the rescue, of course, but not until he's captured by Ansar el-Islam, and helped out of trouble by his Russian half-brother and the CIA. How about it?

I hear that they are recycling body armor now. Taking it off the dead guys and reissuing it, even when shot up or concussed. Too bad that can separate the laminations and means the armor is out of spec and less effective.
