Woman Buys 10,000 Candy Bars
<snip>

LONDON (Reuters) - A woman with an apparently insatiable sweet tooth stunned staff at a British shop when she bought more than 10,000 chocolate bars and had them loaded into her chauffeur-driven limousine.

The woman asked staff at a north London Woolworths branch for every single Mars bar in stock -- 10,656 of them packed in 220 boxes -- and paid for them in cash with 50 pound notes, a Woolworths spokesman said on Wednesday.

The total bill was 2,131 pounds ($3,828).

"It was very, very strange but nobody thought to ask her why she wanted so many," the spokesman said.

1. My mind is SO completely in the gutter...
...that my first thought was of the Marianne Faithfull/Mick Jagger myth. But, that was a Snickers bar, wasn't it?

5. Hasn't the Mars bar ...
... been taken out of production? Can't find them anywhere, lately! Wish I had known — I would have stashed a few in the freezer!

The third annual survey into office scruples conducted by Infosecurity Europe 2004 found that office workers are still not information security savvy. A survey of office workers at Liverpool Street Station found that 71% were willing to part with their password for a chocolate bar . The survey found the majority of workers would take confidential information with them when they change jobs and would not keep salary details confidential if they came across them. The survey was undertaken by the organisers of Infosecurity Europe 2004 (Olympia 27-29 April) in a quest to find out how security conscious workers are with company information stored on computers.
