1. I don't live within 120 miles of a major city.
My city is the largest in a 250-mile radius, but it's not a major city.

4. But
I travel through several major cities every week...I live near Nashville...but drive through Richmond, VA, Raleigh, NC, Jacksonville, FL, Mobile, AL, and Atlanta, GA. sometimes, cincinnati too. Those are just the larger ones. Atlanta is about 270 miles from here.

8. DFW Area is a huge metro area
Houston is in the top 5 cities by population.

No slight to Seattle. I'd rather live there than Houston or Big D ANY day.

But I live in SF, whick kicks Seattle's ass all around. :P

35. Yes, Dallas and Houston
Dallas city 1,188,580 8th largest in US
Dallas metro 5,221,801 9th largest in US
Houston city 1,953,631 4th largest in US
Houston metro 4,669,571 10th largest in US

compared to
Seattle city 563,374 24th largest in US
Seattle metro 3,554,760 13th largest in US

what about San Antonio? Ninth largest city at a 1,144,646 and it didn't make the list.

7. The top six are the top six biggest cities in the US.
Edited on Thu Apr-29-04 12:54 AM by Delano
I picked Atlanta, because it is growing at a phenomenal pace, Dallas because it is an extreme right-wing haven, and San Fran because it is a moderate haven. (I don't even think there's such a thing as a liberal city in this country anymore.)

15. Portland, OR
Little Beirut

http://www.portlandmercury.com/2002-08-15/city.html

I moved away a few months ago. When the war started we blocked I-5 for hours. I actually got fuckered by the news. They asked anti-war folks to find Iraq on the map. I did. Along with the surrounding countries. I asked them to ask the pro-war groups to find Iraq on a map. They aired the anti-war people fucking-up. All ten of them out of 50,000.

About 2 miles NE of the CN Tower.

The nearest US city is Buffalo, NY and I try to avoid it.;-) Detroit is the nearest major US city and I haven't really been there. Just passed through it and it didn't seem all that appealling.

I love Boston and Chicago.

Any non-crazy people down here (all 10 of us!) please reply!

For the record (John Asscrack, are you reading this?!) I'm approx. 15 miles south of Waste Palm Beach; 20 miles north of Ft. Liquordale and about 40 miles north of one of America's greatest cess pools, Miami!

Speaking of my jackass hometown, I can't WAIT until my hometown legend Neil Rogers reads the radio ratings on the air today at 11:30! Oh my GODS! Kids, ya ain't seen NOTHING YET! You think that KIOZ out in San Diego took a big bad dump?! Oh man! WBGG, you are going to hit rock bottom! I will bet $1 MILLION ( of somebody ELSE's money! ) that WBGG, our local former Stern affiliate of TEN YEARS, will have a 0.0 SHARE!!!!!!!!!!!

Lu Cifer, F. U. CRAP CHANNEL, FCC AND BUSHitler!!!!!!! REGISTER TO VOTE AND VOTE ALL DEMOCRAT IN NOVEMBER...AND ANY OTHER ELECTION!!!

PS PLEASE donate to http://www.RandiRhodesArchives.com if you can, once you're done donating to DU and John Kerry that is! At the VERY least, pass that url around!!!!!!!!! Com'on Air America, you turkeys MUST put Randi Rhodes on ALL of your stations! 3 to 7 PM is a the 2nd most listened to time of day to radio, so if you want to crush the RUSHitler Lardasses and the Sean Insanity's and the other 900 RUSHitler clones, THEN YOU NEED TO PULL OUT THE BIG GUNS!!!!!! PLEASE email the AAR affiliates in Minneapolis, Chapel Hill, Portland ME, Memphis TN, Key West FL, West Palm Beach, and any other AAR affiliates you know of that DO NOT have Randi Rhodes, and tell them to POLITELY get with it and/or stop coming back to her show mid-sentence (like WJNO West Palm does...) and/or truncating her show for other programing (like WJNO, and the Key West station does...)

NEIL ROGERS FANS! PLEASE CHECK IN!!! http://www.NeilRogers.com/Listen

It's my pernament address, for about another week.

I'm moving to LA next week . I would rather move from Springfield back to Chicago, but I've been having trouble finding a new job there. So since it looks like I'm leaving campaign work to go back to the media, I might as well go to LA jobless rather than Chicago, I'll find work quicker.
