(I might move sometime late next year...I don't know yet. I have to get my own place, that's for sure, so I might just go ahead and relocate to a different state too.)

Lots of fog or rain. Great culture. Left-wing. Great outdoors stuff within easy driving distance. Portland might work too, but I'm not familiar with it. The rest of the west coast would probably be too sunny for you. :)

You'll have to be careful, though, as there are few non-rightwing places along the Gulf. And the water is polluted everywhere except Florida, where JEB is. And everything is very flat, and hot, and humid. And there are a lot of factories and refineries, so the air is polluted, too, and cancer rates are generally higher. Except in Florida, where JEB is.

But otherwise, the Gulf Coast is it!

I can show you things even *you* haven't seen before, and introduce you to my..."unique"...roommates. Then we can all go freak out normal people, be bar-jokes together, and possibly get a certain roommate drunk enough to sing karaoke.

Seattle is low-sunlight much of the year (and suitable for nocturnal living the rest of the time), has a thriving Pagan culture, contains more geeks-per-square-mile than any other city, *and* is noted for hosting numerous paranormal events.

and here like you in the middle - well sorta middle. I think you could find a niche anywhere - BUT - I think you would love the Bay Area. So I have to vote West Coast, north.
