Wow, I wish I were a manly new york giants fan
then I could swing my large ny giant testicles around and around; being very manly and booing a college boys mother who was there on the podium to show her support to her son. And I could bitch about the fact that the most coveted college player (obviously) was traded from one team to MINE. And I will show how manly I am as a ny giant fan by wearing #10 jerseys by the end of next season and telling everyone in earshot that Eli's the man. But alas, and thank God, I am not a sissy little ny giant fan. I'm in the major leagues of fandom; my Eagles will crush the giants again and again. But Eli will be a hero in NY, making the sissy lil boys of saturday look like ... well sissy lil boys. Dare I say eunuchs?

3. Aaaaah, choose not to challenge the issue
Are you gillespie or racicot trained? The giants fans have been milquetoast for 50+ years and apparently will continue to be. No worthwhile passion, no knowledge. Per your question, the Eagles won the NFL title in 1960 when contracts were irrelevant and draft choice parents were not the subject of ignorant arrogance. And in a quiet moment, at home alone, a giant fan wishes he had the passion and guts and heart of an Eagle Fan.

5. Hahahahaha!
Man, where to start! Let's see, 50+ years? I think the Giants won a Super Bowl in 1986, and again in 1991. They were in another just a few years ago, but alas, they lost. Such is life. Philly was in one SB and lost. As for championships (pre-SB), the Giants won three to Philly's two.

So, what exactly is your argument?

6. That giant fans are punks!
Booing the number one draft choices mother. Whining about the number one players machinations to play for YOUR team. I made the mistake of putting the EAGLES into the equation relative to chatting with you. GIANTS FANS ARE AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN NO GOAL, NO FOCUS PUNKS. The number of championships of the Eagles is totally irrelevant to the previously highlighted fact. The giants do not deserve Eli Manning; however, despite their dumbass arrogant, ignorant selves they will prosper with him and they will cheer him. GIANTS FANS HAVE BEEN DUMBASSES FOR YEARS AND THEY WILL CONTINUE TO BE. The future proof is just months away.

9. Eagles fans plain SUCK ASS
Of course, disgruntled fans of that LOSER team will be rightfully jealous of REAL FANS who root for a team that wins the Big One every now again, as opposed to NEVER. Yeah, I see where you're coming from--years and years and yet more years of NEVER winning a Super Bowl. And you only wish your LOSER team could have Manning, because McNabb, choke artist that he is, will NEVER get your team into the Big One. Not EVER.

4. Right on BOSSHOG
Just wait till Big Bosshog Shawn Andrews starts running in touchdowns from two yards out. Best choice in the first round!

Eagles are my team now.

8. I love a man who dreams
Comrade, the Cowboys may be runners up to the Eagles this coming season but that's if ever thang goes just bout perfect. Gibbs is gettin that NASCAR stuff out of his system and tuna will be floundering until he finally decides to retire for good. The giants - if they use Eli; they' succeed, but what the fuck do I know? The NFC East, again the best the NFL has to offer.

10. Not an Eagles fan, though I live outside of Philly, but
Not a real G-men fan either (though I usually pulled for the latter in their mutual contests)...

I will say this though, the Giants got burned. The future Super Bowl winner went to San Diego and his name is Phillip Rivers.

Rivers has "it".

14. perhaps-- or at least people who thought Eli was being a bit of a punk
His choice, I don't hold it against him, hell he had leverage. I still think Phil Rivers will own a Super Bowl ring before Eli Manning.
