Cat Problem: Abbie has "Litter Breath"
Edited on Wed Apr-14-04 07:16 AM by LynneSin
I'm serious!

I don't mind the kitty breath because hey - they're cats and I think it smells kinda nice.

But the last 2 days Abbie will come up and snuggle me - and his breath smells like LITTER (clean litter, not urine stained litter). Now the container with the unused litter (the stuff not in the actual litter box) is sealed, so I'm starting to worry if the guy is picking up the taste for fresh litter? I mean, he gets tartar control snacks. So why is he eating this stuff

I mean, it's not like any of us like chewing on the urinal cakes or anything

1. I would plant kitty grass in meat loaf shaped tins for him
Wheat grass seed is dirt cheap and easy to grow.
Even lions in the wild occasionally munch on
grass. Got grass?

3. Kitty grass is good, you can get it at petco.

Ours likes to eat our indoor plant leaves, or any fresh flowers in vases. We got her the kitty grass and she munches on that now.
