4. Three guesses.
And the first two don't count!

You do realize, of course, that I actually think Bono has more musical talent in his thumbnail than Britney has in her whole surgically-enhanced body!

9. U2?
Just wondering where the group U2 got their name.

Because if they just upped the letter one more, they'd go off like a rocket.

13. The name doesn't mean anything, and they did it on purpose.
They wanted a name that couldn't be connected with any trend or fashion. Actually, in their formative years, they were called "Feedback" and then "The Hype" and both of these names were understandably influenced by the punk rock of the late 70's which also influenced their music. Considering how gimmicky most band names of the early 80's are (Flock of Seagulls, Haircut 100, etc) and considering how many of those bands survived, I'd say they chose wisely.

Not to mention their music was 100 times better than any of those bands.

And as for Britney vs U2 ? I'll listen to the worst song on the "Passengers" CD repeatedly for 24 hours before I'll sit through one Britney Spears prefabricated disco crap song.

18. It's just like nails on a chalkboard to me.
Can't stand them. Maybe it's the wailing banshee voice, maybe it's the guitar, I don't know, but it's the kind of sound that can compel me to throw a radio out the window.

To each his own, I guess.

15. I don't much care for the music of this Ms. Spears.
But at least she's not a pretentious wanker. She doesn't act like anything other than the milquetoast teenybopper she is, so I had to vote for her.

Here's a joke for ya:

Cobain blows his brains out & goes to Rock & Roll Heaven. Looks in a door and sees Jimi. St. Peter introduces the two, and they have a great discussion about feedback & whatnot. Going down the hall, Kurt sees Lennon. Again, St. Peter introduces them, and they talk about the pressures of being called the "voice of a generation," or whatever it is they were supposed to be.

A little further down the hall, Cobain sees Bono combing his hair. "Gee, St. Peter, I didn't know Bono was dead!" St. Peter replies: "That's not Bono, that's God. He just thinks he's Bono."

HAHAHAHAHAHA, let's laugh at the guy who looked just like Nigel Tufnel standing over Elvis' grave 4 years later, but did so without the least shred of irony!

Okay, I hate that self-important shitcan, but "Achtung Baby" is still a pretty cool record. Nothing on is tops "Toxic," though.
