1. A lot of people use AOL because it's easy.

Those behind AOL, I don't believe are liberal. I used AOL until I got used to maneuvering through the internet. Now I don't because it is part of Time Warner and it's expensive. It also actually caused me to experience crashes, losing data for me and I would rather spend my capitalist dollar helping out the local economy anyway.

4. My experience was much the same as yours.
AOL is great for beginners, but when you're ready to take off the training wheels, it's time to find another service. I got sick of being kicked offline and the home page looked like an issue of People.

2. Aol polls
tend to have a very conservative bias. Things are changing in this country.

3. Well I'm an aol user
And I'm Liberal. A person shouldn't be judged by what ISP they use, or what music they listen to or any other trivial nonsense like that. For instance, I don't shop Wal-Mart, but I know people who do and they are good people. I have to admit though, I have tried to talk to people about it.

7. I shop at Wal-Mart.
As a retiree, I am on a fixed income and have to look for the best deal. With increasing drug expenses, spendable income is becoming tighter and tighter. At least Wal-Mart doesn't price gouge like the pharmaceuticals do.

12. By the same token
we shouldn't assume that someone is a liberal just because they gave a disapprove answer to the poll.

5. poll respondent numbers are low, usually much higher
most AOL polls have about 300,000 to 400,000 polled
this poll must be new, so not many responded yet.

AOL polls lately have mostly been negative towards
Bush and the PNAC's occupation of Iraq

8. I used AOL up until Saturday, I needed high speed for my job.
I hated the crashing, the waiting to download...etc. But it was a cheap way to talk realtime with my brothers in California, easy and we just never switched until I was forced to . The size of the files I send would crash AOL. I had had it with them by last week though, when my Welcome screen was a big picture of Ann Coulter with the poll, "do you think liberals are traitors?" Gee, wonder who's running AOL these days.

9. I'm an AOL user and a liberal
On the message boards on AOL that discuss the war and Bush, I'd say that about 75% of the posters are anti-Bush.
Plus, I took the poll and I'm one of the 48% who strongly disappove.

11. Not the ones who run it.
I left AOL because it was so pro-Bush. During the invasion, it was so pro-war it made me puke. :puke:

For more on how I feel, see "I hate AOL rant."
