Wally O'Dell of Diebold Delivers Ohio for Bush

Bet on it folks!!!!

I talked to Secretary of State Blackwell's point man today and was told:
The Secretary asked for a waiver but is still going to have electronic voting machines in every county by the August 2004 state elections.
They are not even considering the question of voter verified paper ballots at this time as the machines are quite secure and accurate.

He says that all those nasty little problems found in the Compuware study will be fixed and the machines re-certified by the state in plenty of time to have them installed by August.

Senator Fedor of Toledo is asking all concerned voters to call Blackwell's office (614-466-2585) and ask him to slow down and take the full two years on the waiver to do this right. If we don't light up that switchboard in the next few days, it will be lights out for the voter in Ohio. You might tell him that if he wants your vote for Gov in 2006, he better give you a voter-verifiable paper ballot.

Please keep this kicked for the Ohio Duers.

2. Don't bet on absentee
Ohio has some strict rules on who can and cannot vote absentee. That is one of our laws that need to be changed and we will work on that as soon as we get our very foolish Sec. of State on the right track.

8. Do a Media Blitz of Your Own
Get a massive letter writing campaign to all the media in Ohio.

Tell them the SOS is going against what the citizens want and against all rules of common sense.

Blitz the media and the legislature.

Don't just write the Secretary of State, (SOS) ever. CC the correspondence to the legislature and the governor. Never underestimate the SOS ability to ignore citizen input. But input that is going to be seen many places, now, that's a different ball game. The SOS can't be held accountable if no one else knows what's going on.

You might also CC those letters to the media.

I can promise you
my fellow Buckeyes, I am going to nag you until you all do your duty and become activist on this issue. If we do not stop Blackwell, you will be throwing away your vote in the next presidential election. The 2000 election was very close in Ohio and we have a good chance of delivering this state for the Dem nominee IF WE HAVE AN HONEST ELECTION.

Keep this kicked........:kick:

I will be in Columbus Thursday on business and will give Blackwell a call. A paper trail is too important to overlook! Way to easy to cheat without a paper trail!

Is anyone going to the Democratic Caucuses in Ohio? I will be at the Second Congressional District Caucus in Bethel, OH next Monday. I will be with the Dean group.
