New! Spicy! Smothered in gravy, Crawford-style!

Junior hits the trifecta.

I guess probably not moveon.org material.

The next one is even better, ridiculous civil defense-type educational film entitled "IS THIS TERROR?"

no copyright, no warranty, share and enjoy. and doubleplusthanks to the special guest supervillain/narrator!

and yes, naughty language enclosed. You'd think the filename would be a clue.

10. should be fantastic, she'd make short work of RW callers
dealing with hecklers is good training for that sort of thing.

4. I've been meaning to ask you
about your psycho-audio. Do you use samples or do you generate some of your sound manually in analog? Back in the 80's and early 90's I owned tons of analog effects and wacky sound generators, but got rid of them when I started doing digital audio on the computer. I've noticed it's really hard to make grungy, analog type sounds sound right in the all digital realm. I have all the tube simulator, amp simulator and tape-sound plugins and they work okay, but not great. Just wondering how you manage to do it?

I'm so jealous you got to hear Janeane talk dirty. :)

5. analog and digital, anything I can get my hands on at the time
radio shack decks, broken 70s boxes, minidisc, 4-track, 8-track, 3409573045-track, etc. then put through the sample blender and bake at 400 degrees until lightly toasted.

8. Gotcha
That's what I'm missing, the 400 degree roasting. I've pondered building a tube preamp for awhile. Your style reminds me of an old friend of mine. He's a major gadget geek and the only person I know who still uses a cart 8-track and reel to reel in his music. He does amazing things with his finger and an open-face tape mechanism.

I think I need to go back to my roots. The days when I had a recliner with a subwoofer mounted underneath it and when I used to record vocals and guitar on a 4-track in the dorm stairwell.

6. whoooa!
didn't see that one coming! My child walked up to see what I was listening to just when she gave the "one-liner." I like Jeanne, but I'm not impressed with the "one-liner." It has the potential to be a very good ad with the exception of the...yes, "one-liner."

personally, I thought it would be a good commercial if I had something to match her voiceover! I just threw that together.

This reminds me of reactions to one of the Dick Cheney videos - the whole murder, war, lie thing is ok, but a naughty word? SHOCKING! Dead children? We can handle that. Cuss words? RUNNNNN!

11. I think I'm going to make a PG-rated version
that will end with

"Burger King: I love this place!" instead.

That should do the trick.

much amusement was had.

She was really gracious to make with the improv amidst freezing winds!

The next one was narration for one of the civil defense films...

J: "Is thissss terrrrrror?"
ME: "No, honey - that's not terror."
J: "Oh... what is terror?"
ME: "Oh, someday you'll be ready to hear about such things."

etc etc...

what a talented, wickedly smart riffer! She did Karl Rove jokes, so that probably explains why she doesn't have a tv show.
