This may be a stupid question, but...
What exactly are they trying to get out of Saddam Hussein anyway?

1. Probably a promise that he won't rat on Bush I, Bush II, and
Reagan.

5. LOL!
I was just about to say the same thing. Maybe they're also getting him to sign over any remaining oil wells he owns or has control over, as well. After all, oil's the important thing, right?

2. Uh...his decorating secrets?
His recipe for camel dip?

What hair conditioner he uses?

I give up. Is there a correct answer?

11. Hehe, decorating secrets?
Remember that conference room they always showed him in? He had curtains behind him, and the room looked like it was from the 1960's. I always thought it was a very tacky room for a dictator to hold his meetings in.

6. Higher poll numbers for Bush?
I'm sure there's nothing Saddam can say that the Bush administration doesn't already know, and in fact, knew before they started this war. Maybe they want to know what he knows?

It wasn't very smart of Bush to capture him, since they really can't try him on anything that other dictators we're allied with aren't right now doing to their own people. Also, we helped them in their war with Iran by providing Hussein with the knowledge and materials on how to make and use chemical weapons, and it's dubious whether or not it was Saddam who gassed the Kurds. It sure gave the news readers something to drool over for a week, but I get this sense that most of the everyday people aren't seeing Saddam's capture as that big of a deal.

8. Why would Saddam say anything?
I mean, he knows he's going to die or at min never see freedom again. So really why answer anything if you ask me.

9. Information...
... about the people who are still attacking the troops. Who they are, where they are headquartered, what their plans are, things like that.

Maybe he knows, maybe he doesn't.
