Certain disciplines seem to attract Conservative thought, like Engineers. I know there are good Dem Engineers but I know far too many of the Con-type. It seems that their thought is developed for physical analysis but is undeveloped in humanities or maybe economics.

They aren't coherent because their critical thinking faculties are purposefully eroded from 1000 different angles such that their Bushevik Masters may implant any Doublethink or contradictory thoughts with ease.

And though this is just an opinion, if things get even in the least bit bad, economically or in other ways, when they are told to behave like Soviets and Nazis (of course it won't be explained in that way to them, musn't wake up the sheep) they will do just that.
