Drudge Breaking Headline : the CBS 911 Report
I think the question of "if" the media (at least most freepers/media loot at Drudge) will pick this up has been answered.

My question is "how did this bombshell come about"? The way the 911 team has been handpicked and stonewalled ..who thought this would come forward.

Maybe I'm jumping...but the timing on the testimony (next month) could be an "election breaker".

I thought the "powers that be" managed the news and events "better than this".

I will spare you the Drudgereport link.

6. I'm shocked, I tell you. Shocked!
I must admit that it's even more hilarious after what's taken place in this country the last 11 years. They sure do like to hold on to those faux beliefs for life.

7. Against my better judgment, I read the FR thread. Almost all of those
moronic, inbred, knuckle-dragging pricks blame President Clinton. One of them is so god damned fucking stupid he doesn't even know the perps from the first WTC attack were successfully prosecuted. I swear, those freeps are dumber than a box of rocks.

12. In the freeper mind, prosecution and conviction is no substitute for
DOING SOMETHING. Presumably like invading some country inhabited by towel heads.

9. Freepers are dancing a jig!
to try to rationalize this one...\

So far: the predictable "Bill Clinton's Fault"

then: "Everything is preventable" as if to argue over the meanin of the word "is"

followed by: attacks on keane- as if some liberal conspiracy made him the republican choice for the panel

There are a few pointing out that truth is something independent of ones hopes.

13. I wondered how many posts I would have to read before
I found someone on that forum mention Clinton. And, predictably, they were spewing the popular lie about Clinton being "handed Osama on a silver platter".
Give me a fucking break.

And you know what is even more disturbing? FReepers don't want 9/11 investigated.

I have said this before, and I will say it again. You want to see anti-American? Wait until these sycophantic Nazi shitheads find out the truth, and then start frantically spinning to try and make Bush's decision to let it happen turn into a good thing somehow for our country. Others will insist that it was a setup, just like many say now that Watergate was a setup and was staged by Democrats.
Most importantly, you can bet your ass that these jingoistic, phony patriot flag waving assholes, who tout "never forget" as their catch phrase to global warfare, will be telling people to "forget about 9/11" as soon as Bush is exposed as the murdering criminal he is.

18. You just nailed it
Thier loyalty lies with the NeoCons, and then America.

Wait, that's not fair to say.
Let me rephrase that.

Their loyalties lie in this order.

Themselves
Bush/NeoCons
God
United States.

Thats pretty fucking sick when they will defend Bush before American citizens. Some of the assholes don't want 9/11 investigated at all. Probably because they know it would expose Bush as a lying murderer.

3. I think that this was going to come out
and the "powers that be" managed to "find" Saddam in time to shield Bush from some of the backlash.

10. The lightbulb goes on! Think about this.
If the Fierce Warrior Chieftain thought this might be slipping out:

Wouldn't it explain his stammering, guilty response to Big Stretch's question at the big news conference??

(I still think the funniest part of that is that Big Stretch thought he was lobbing the Boy King a fat one to bash Dean, and ended up outing his good bud dubbie.)

Check this thread for the clip, if you haven't seen it:

16. Mike Ruppert predicted Shrub would be removed
Back in July of this year Mike Ruppert predicted Shrub would be removed. Ruppert's theory being that Shrub would serve as a scapegoat after having done the neo-cons dirty work for them in setting in place the Patriot Act, invading Iraq and inserting US troops into the country on a more or less permanent basis etc.

The string pullers behind the curtains having got their ill-gotten gains will make sure the next president, be he Democrat or Repub, presents a kindler, gentler face to the world and is perceived as being less of an ignorant asshole than GWB, but in reality they will continue to control the situation and take advantage of the increased police state type powers from the patriot act and the presence of US troops in one of the last remaining oil rich regions in the world.

July 1, 2003 1600 PDT (FTW) -- Let's just suppose for a moment that George W. Bush was removed from the White House. Cheney, Powell, Rumsfeld, Ashcroft, Wolfowitz and Rove too. What would that leave us with? It would leave us stuck in hugely expensive, Vietnam-like guerrilla wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. It would leave us with the Patriot Act, Homeland Security and Total Information Awareness snooping into every detail of our lives. It would leave us with a government in violation of the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th Amendments to the Constitution. It would leave us with a massive cover-up of US complicity in the attacks of 9/11 that, if fully admitted, would show not intelligence "failures" but intelligence crimes, approved and ordered by the most powerful people in the country. It would leave us with a government that now has the power to compel mass vaccinations on pain of imprisonment or fine, and with no legal ability to sue the vaccine makers who killed our friends or our children. It would leave us with two and half million unemployed; the largest budget deficits in history; more than $3.3 trillion missing from the Department of Defense; and state and local governments broke to the point of having to cut back essential services like sewers, police, and fire. It would leave us with a federal government that had hit the debt ceiling and was unable to borrow any more money. And we would still be facing a looming natural gas crisis of unimagined proportions, and living on a planet that is slowly realizing that it is running out of oil with no "Plan B". Our airports however, would be very safe, and shares of Halliburton, Lockheed and DynCorp would be paying excellent dividends.

This is not good management.

Leaving all of these issues unaddressed is not good management either.

And this is why, as I will demonstrate in this article, the decision has already been made by corporate and financial powers to remove George W. Bush, whether he wants to leave or not, and whether he steals the next election or not. Before you start cheering, ask yourself three questions: "If there is someone or something that can decide that Bush will not return, nor remain for long, what is it? And if that thing is powerful enough to remove Bush, was it not also powerful enough to have put him there in the first place? And if that is the case, then isn't that what's really responsible for the state of things? George W. Bush is just a hired CEO who is about to be removed by the "Board of Directors". Who are they? Are they going to choose his replacement? Are you going to help them?

What can change this Board of Directors and the way the "Corporation" protects its interests? These are the only issues that matter.

Beyond Bush Part 1

Beyond Bush Part 2

Of course too many, this is just :tinfoilhat: stuff. However, it'll be interesting to see if this latest brouhaha just fades away like all the others or actually has some legs.

17. well, I read the article
nothing much said that has not already been in the mainstream media and used as justification to create Homeland Security Dept. Bad communication, inability to put two and two together across depts or even in the same one, infor not always percolating up to the NSA.

Sounds like maybe Rice or Tenet gets shown the door and off to lunch. Independant verification done, nothing new, solution in place and working (no more planes into sky scrapers). Boy I feel better that thats cleared up.

I believe its being managed well enough by the administration. We'll see if the media does anything more than read the government reports by way of reporting the story.
