3. I guess a five year head start, and millions and millions of dollars
isn't helping Dean as much as one might suspect.

The problem with being the frontrunner is that you can't afford to stumble. When you are as far out in front as Dean is you almost have to succeed everywhere or you're toast.

The toaster is waiting.

10. I thought Clark was the guy who knew the strategy

for Southern Victory.

After total focus and "strategic withdrawal" from tow other races, the best he can do is SECOND?

I expected from his supporters comments here, that he would be up by 40 points like Dean is in New Hampshire.

Maybe if the put more energy into their campaign and less into detracting other campaigns, they could show us that southern strategy for victory we've been hearing about.

16. It will be interesting to correlate it with the other polls
Edited on Tue Dec-16-03 07:49 PM by SahaleArm
I'm surprised there are so few people undecided.

One Edit: The other polls showed 33%+ undecided.

7. Actually
the poll numbers are an uptick for both of them from prior polls. Clark has been in the teens and Dean at around 10 so they both gain although it's a big jump for Dean.

8. Lookin good
And think, Dean's JUST now started to hit SC hard with staff, money, advertising, etc.

He's off to a great start.

If he wins SC, it's OVER for the rest. Period. End of story.

11. This Is Good News for Both of Them
I think Clark needs a win in SC more than Dean. I actually WANT polls to start showing Dean as #1 or #2 in SC, however, so that expectations are properly managed and a Clark win at the end is not spun as Dean doing unexpectedly well as #2.
