Clark: Show some Leadership and jump 10% in the polls
Edited on Thu Dec-11-03 07:09 PM by WhoCountsTheVotes
General Clark:

You got your first big bump in the polls when Michael Moore thanked you for standing up for American's rights to criticize our government. You used your reputation and position to remind everyone that criticizing the government in a time of war is a DUTY, and 100% PATRIOTIC.

It's time for you to show leadership again.

The Corporate Media - ABC, CBS, FOX, CNN, NBC, and their parent corporations - Disney/Cap Cities, Newscorp, GE, Westinghouse, have not only marginalized YOUR candidacy (with limited success because of your popularity) but now they are trying to deny Sharpton, Moseley-Braun, Kucinich and even KERRY - one of our best and most historic Democratic Senators - a hearing on the public airwaves. Corporate Executives have decided to choose the Democratic candidate before a single vote has been cast, and half a year before our convention. This is an insult to democracy and the Democratic Party.

No one is better positioned than you, General Clark, to stand up for democracy and fairness in America and publically renounce these corporations for interfering in the democratic process.

Your standing in the polls and reputation as an American leader will skyrocket, and you will have proved your Democratic credentials to even the harshest critics.

1. All of the candidates should ban all of the embeds
and Clark could take the lead.

They have no business nestling a potential viper to their breasts anyway. It was a bad idea from the outset and this miscalculation by ABC provides a fine justification for removing all of them.

Make the media work for their stories.

:^) just being cynical again, I guess.

7. Everytime I mention corporations by name, I get no responses
If I was a paranoid conspiracy theorist ... Why is it that every single thread, polite or profane, gets no response if I mention corporations by name and trademark? Just an idle speculation - we won't be able to post their names in public soon enough, thanks to "intellectual property" law.

you and your white internet buddies, good luck, maybe you'll get a Libertarian president yet. Try and privatize Social Security and I'll vote for third party, thnx.

11. I'm a street activist who most recently worked for Matt Gonzales.
Clark is the Corpocrat Party insiders' choice and you know it.

If Dean tries to privatize SS, I'll be the first one to rally a massive supporter revolt.

14. you're fooling yourself
"street activist" - what does that mean exactly, you like to go to protests :) Look, damn right Clark is the "insider's choice" - so is Dean, as you should be able to tell from his growing list of party insiders endorsements - like Gore - remember, didn't he just go stump for Newsom?

I think it's sweet all you kids got behind Dean - hell, I remember passing out flyers for Ammiano in 98 :) Maybe he'll win. Talk to me after one year of Dean's presidency and let me know if you've learned anything about the "Corpocrat Party" - hint, it's call the Democratic Party. Al Gore, remember him, Chief Pimp for NAFTA and the WTO? He's the head Corporcrat. ABB, baby!

12. You can find all the info you want about these people
on their Web site, no ? Given the kind of reporting that has been going on, this may be GOOD news for Kucinich and the others....

16. I support this sentiment 100%
Can this be fixed easily? I think a serious candidate who wins with a clean campaign (no dirty, attacking, smearing tactics) can make a difference in how politics are conducted in this country. That is one reason I support Clark.
