I just talked to my friend and they have not talked to their son for a few weeks..(they were getting phone calls every few days for a while:(..), but she says it takes about a week for a package to arrive, and we could send things to HIM and have him distribute it for us, if she does not get names soon..

She asked that we put a note inside saying that the goodies were from friends of his Mom (until we get actual names of the others)..Of course be sure to include your name & address and maybe some postcards/stationery too.. They may not all have access to phoone time and may need the cards to write to their own families and to send you a thank you note too:)

She also said to remember that it is SUPER HOT there and anything that will melt is not a terrific idea..(chocolate:(... ) unless it's in a sealed container maybe??

and please..nothing DIRECTLY derogatory to the admin.. Maybe the main section & sports section of a liberal paper might do it.. and the letters to the editor?? maybe Time mag..

1. I think it's cool to include a personal note...

....and let them know that millions of liberals like you support the troops and care about their welfare and safety. The troops apparently get a lot of garbage about the "anti-American" left.
