Questions about the Lieberman Gore thing.
I know that Lieberman sold Gore up the river in 2000 and again in 2002. What exactly happened in those two instances?

That aside, I would agree that Gore does not owe Lieberman anything.

Go Howard!!!!!

1. During the 2000 recount in Florida,
During the 2000 recount in Florida, soldiers who weren't registered to vote in Florida cast votes AFTER the election.

Democratic lawyers received memos that such ballots are illegal.

The Republicans twisted this to say those horrible Democrats don't want soldiers' votes to count.

Lieberman said "let's count every vote" (including illegal votes cast after the election by people not registered to vote in Florida.)

2. well, that debate with Cheney, for starters...
That's when I knew he was a loser. I'll never forget it. He could have cleaned Dick-weed's clock, and he just sat there like a lump.

3. Lieberman expressed admiration for the money
Cheney had made since he left government. Cheney then said that not a dime came from the government. And Lieberman just rolled over. He did not say one word about Halliburton's contracts with the government.

4. Exaclty Frances...Anyone with a pulse could've nailed that...
And he sat there and shrugged and basically said "Well, Dick, you've got me there."

Hey, if someone on the OUTSIDE knew where Dick was making his cash, surely to goodness a US Senator running for VP should have known a hell of a lot more....
