Poll question: Is Al Gore a premature endorser? The original non-partisan poll
Edited on Mon Dec-08-03 08:22 PM by ResistTheCoup
Some say he 'pulled out' too soon in 2000. Will he peak too soon this time? You decide.

A 'no' has been added by popular demand/whining.

:-)

7. If he feels that strongly about Dean, NO!
Why shouldn't he endorse the man whom he feels would do best? It's not time for political nicieties, we need a fighting spirit. I'm sorry if Libbymop's feelings got hurt, or even on some level Kerry or Edwards, but it's time that we fought for our party and Gore is making a "pre-emptive strike" against the Repugs!

11. is it Dean he feels so strongly about?
Or is this a slap in the face to the DLC who drove him from the race?

Does anyone remember an endorsement from a former Pres or Vp this early in the campaign?

9. I said this before ....
and it descibes the endorsement adequately...in my opinion....

Gore's endorsement is a political ORGASM.....Now I'll have that cigarette...:smoke:

10. Gore's setting himself up for 2008 with the Move-on people, dissing the DLC

and he's calling the Clinton's hand. Maybe corporate influences will help him get his network if he helps them get Dean nominated to be Chimpy's election patsy. Republicans at work were hi-fiving over this, they're scared of Clark and Kerry but see Dean as an easily beaten short angry communist from Vermont.
