NPR -ATC reported on Dean's records not bush's or reagan's

The double-standard is driviing me kookoo.
Here's my note to All Things (used to be) Considered:

Subject: Dean's records vs Bush's records double standard

I just listened to your piece on Howard Dean's partially sealed gubernatorial records.
It is egregious that you would air such a one-sided piece.
Why are you talking about "what is Dean up to?" "what's in there?" "what's he hiding?"without bringing up the facts that:

-GWB's gubernatorial records have been transferred to his father's library, effectively making the entirety of his records off limits
(wonder what HE's up to)
And don't forget that GWB's military record and original driving record have been dissappeared as well.
For security, right?

- We're now 3+ years along in the stonewalling of turning over the Reagan papers (security, natch), thus setting a precedent for when, next term, Bush Sr's presidential papers are due to be released. Betcha they won't see the light of day either.
(hmm..wonder what Reagan and Bush may want to keep to themselves?)

In The Old days of NPR such one-sided reportage would not have happened. NPR used to be the place where one could hear real, in depth, layered news and analysis.
Now it has become just another mouthpiece for the party line.

You'd think that Mrs Kroc's endowment would let you folks loosen the noose a bit!
