O'Reilly's Proof of Nasty Agenda-Driven Hollywood Liberals
BILL O'REILLY, HOST: In the Impact segment tonight, last night some Hollywood people held a big meeting to organize anti-Bush sentiment. And we had a guy there, as we promised. Here he is. (Conservative)Steve Young joins us from Los Angeles, where he writes for The Jewish World Review

O'REILLY: What happened? Tell us what happened there.

YOUNG: Well, it turned out not to be such a "hate Bush" meeting as much as a well, we don't particularly care for the president. And hopefully we can put in a guy...

O'REILLY: So is it -- we don't care for the Bush -- right, we don't care for him, rather than we hate him?

YOUNG: Yes, the worst thing they called him was, well, "we don't feel that he's 'compassionate' nor 'conservative.'" That was the worst thing that I heard. There was nothing there that was actually hate-filled.

O'REILLY: I mean, these people loathe the president. All of them.

YOUNG: Nobody said that, though.

O'REILLY: I don't care whether they say it or not, they loathe him. And they ought to be, you know, men and women enough to admit it. But that doesn't matter. Who cares?

Gotta' love those conservative conspiracy theories.

1. Perhaps that "Impact" segment should be renamed
Here's some suggestions:
"Fizzle"
"Flaccid"
"O'Reilly Is A F**king Waste of Space"

(sorry, that's my "liberal bias" showing)

3. Does O'Reilly not realise that he is defeating his own argument?
By saying that we ought to be man/woman enough to admit that we dislike Shrub, it kinds seems like he is rubbing in our faces how BAD Bush really is. It feels like he is almost admiting that they are evil! Fuck him, when Dean breaks up FOX, his 20 minutes will be up.

2. Why does he even HAVE guests on?
If he is just going to ignore them and push his own opinions. Its so retarded. I find it even more mind-boggling that any guest that is not an ultra-conservative prick even agrees to go on that show.

4. Exposure
The kid who lost his father to the 9/11 attacks made a huge impact on O'Reilly's show, so it does pay to be on. I only wish some more presidential candidates would show up on the factor.

5. O'REally, I don't hate Bush*...
...I just hate YOU! Hypocritical bastard.

Bush is a pathetic dry drunk welfare case. I won't hate him even a tiny bit if he'll just retire to his faux ranch.

Unfortunately we can't vote O'REALLY out of office.

OT but related: The Resistance Lives! I was driving home last week behind a public bus and there was an O'Reilly radio factor ad on the back. Except it said "O'LIElly." A pretty professional job, you couldn't tell.

I just about ran off the road. Laughed all the way home.

7. Bill O'Reilly, God's Gift to Journalism, ladies and gentlemen...
"I don't care whether they say it or not, they loathe him."

That's our Bill, about as fair and balanced as an ancient Roman gladiatorial exhibition. With journalism of this caliber, who needs Bob Herbert?

Of course, Repugs have no nasty agenda-driven Hollywood conservatives Schwarzenegger whatsoever. Oh, pardon me, I'm suffering from a Reagan wee touch o' Tourettes. Oh, no, there Mel Gibson I go again. Ooops Chuck Norris.

8. Somebody's got to get the conspiracies going.
The show is completely geared toward this fallacy of a liberal uprising to overthrow Bush. I honestly believe O'Reilly is confused because he's losing out to Franken and Moore in the book selling business. His excuse, "The Dems are buying in bulk."

It's funny, he sent a conservative reporter to cover the "hate-Bush" gathering and the guy comes back and says it was nothing like that. O'Reilly didn't buy it though.

9. that was a great interview
I'm looking for the transcripts for that. O'Reilly got his ass handed to him. The guest went on to tell Bill "Bill, these likeminded progressives got together, and it was the beauty of democracy in action, you would have appreciated it since you're such an independant thinker."
This guest was completely handing Bill back his own bullshit, and Bill clearly didn't know what to do with it.

10. I love it when....
O'Reilly gets blindsighted by one of his guests, he starts stuttering and stammering and then bullying them when they don't shill for the right as expected. I'll bet there's a huge turnover in his office when he comes off looking like the ass he really is. I can just hear his tyrannical whine, "Why didn't somebody "debrief" him before you let him on the air?" WAH WAH WAH

11. Transcript
Here's a longer transcript: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,104851,00.html

His paranoia is really clear. You should hear what he says on his Radio program. "And I go to the conservative sites. Newsmax and World Net Daily. They don't do think kind of stuff." I almost had a heart attack when I heard that.
