Whatever happened to Donna Brazile?

During the Clinton administration, Donna Brazile was a most articulate spokesperson for Progressive Americans. She was my hero! Where is she now and what is she doing?

1. I have seen her on Hardball and Meet the Press and stuff like that

pretty recently; not sure what her profession/job/occupation is right now...

and maybe that explains W Virginia in 2000.

5. I'm confused about her

She turned on Gore and lost all my respect. She also helped get Landrieu elected. I don't trust her but she knows how to get out the vote. She never should have run a campaign and never should have betrayed Gore

9. I remember her doing a horrible job for Gore...

but did she actually 'betray' him? I thought she just made some bad mistakes (like not going for the jugular when the Repubs stole the election, etc..)

11. After the selection

she publically trashed him. It showed a lack of class and loyalty. Campaign disagreements should be kept in the inner circle and noone should kick a man when he is down.

at Gore's latest speech in DC... right up front. Maybe she's made amends.

I know she's on the board of The Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, which includes the likes of Richard Perle, Eric Cantor, Daniel Pipes, Newt Gingrich, Charles Krauthammer, and some other winners I can't recall right now.

after things that happened on the Gore campaign like West Virginia it in the bag you do not have to meet with the union people there.

WV 5 Electorial Votes would put Gore in the WH.....

10. Right now she's Chair of the DNC's Voting Rights Institute

an organization which seems to have done a whole lot of nothing since the 2000 election.

I'm sorry about it too. She used to seem like such an attractive, bright, appealing person, but seems like a total sellout now.

13. I think Donna is part of the Beltway scene now,

and she enjoys it. She paid her dues by befriending Rove, making nice with the powers that be, and representing Democrats on televison in a way similar to the way Colmes represents liberals. We could still use her organizational skills, when and if she chooses to use them.

I can't remember what university. I could look it up later. We were exchanging emails a couple of weeks back and she mentioned it. She said that she is working part time until the elections are over next year. :eyes: Don't ask.
