At least MacGruder and Hughley yelled out "but not by Iraq". Maher then continued to take up for Bush and the war, and play down the casualties. That is inexcusable.

It was inexcusable when Clinton said Bush made a "mistake." It is inexcusable when Maher takes the same attitude.

There is nothing to justify the fact that our young men are dying, and they did not have to die.

Shame on Bill Maher. And don't give me the usual lecture about look at all the good stuff he does. I know that. I just know my heart aches too much for all the deaths of our soldiers and the Iraqi civilians. He has no right to minimize them! It is wrong when Clinton minimizes them, and it is wrong when Maher does.

He only says the things he says so he can look superior or grab publicity. I was flipping channels and he was discussing how liberal he is with none other than Joe Scumborough - and Joe was just kissing his ass. Yeah, real liberal.
