Every Democratic Nominee is a Great Person. Agree?

Every last one of the Democratic Nominees is a great person. That's right. Swallow that gulp, even Lieberman. Who's with me? All in favor say aye. Let's see some solidarity. Let's see 100% positive messages. ;)

The rest of them are excellent people for the most part and even the ones I don't like are atleast "good" people.

I just can't agree with some of the things he supports. I'd be happy to have him for a neighbor, though.

how the media (and republicans) could look at the field of candidates and say things like "boring" and "uninspiring," etc...
I have watched several televised debates and have thought just the opposite: "What a great and interesting mix of good, socially conscious people!"

The woman is an affront to decency in politics and an embarrassment to the Democratic Party. She NEVER should have joined the race, but I guess that the massahs up at the big house decided that somebody had to dilute Sharpton's impact on the selection process.

24. She pissed away her/OUR seat in the U.S. Senate, for starters...

Carol Marin is an extremely respected journalist here in Chicago...she quit her high-paying nightly news co-anchor job on the NBC affiliate in Chicago in protest over the principle of their hiring of Jerry Springer to do commentaries(Jerry ended up getting the ax after 2 or 3 appearances, Carol didn't return).
Carol had this to say in an op-ed piece in last decembers Chicago Tribune:

"...One example. Before freshmen senators go to work in Washington, there is an orientation program to help them learn the lay of the land. You skipped it. Rather than roll up your sleeves right away and show you were both symbol and substance, you hopped a flight to Nigeria and paid your respects to the dictator of the most populous country in Africa, Gen. Sani Abacha. Despite Abacha's hideous record on human rights, including the assassination of his enemies, you remained a periodic visitor to the country and you were the lone member of the Senate and the lone member of the Congressional Black Caucus who opposed sanctions against that repressive regime.

Then there was the campaign finance mess. OK, as President Bill Clinton's ambassador to New Zealand, you'd been away for awhile. But why would you choose the Nov. 5 election to mark your re-entry to Chicago politics with radio and newspaper ads supporting Bill Shaw, of the politically notorious Shaw brothers, over Rev. James Meeks for a seat in the Illinois Senate? This is progressive politics?

Adding to this fine column, let's not forget when she left her position in Cook County she fired the entire staff on one of the last days and replaced them with political hacks. This was gratuitous even by Chicago Standards..."

And this piece didn't even mention among other things, the lumber lease stuff involving her mother's property in Alabama...
