Just said by Peter Jennings. Says they heard from some in the State Dept (or was it one of their Reporters/Experts?) who said the reason the US wants to hand over power sooner rather than later is because the Iraqi's are getting sick of us

ALso went on to say that it is not an exit strategy, and that troops will remain.


On Edit: It might have been the Iraqi's on the Council who are getting sick of us, only paying half attention because it was at the end of a segment

Right around 5:40 CST, as it was going to commercial, it said, "World News Tonight is brought to you by Ambien", and then went to a graphic of an Ambien box, then to commercial.

I guess Ambien is trying to take advantage of the great product endorsement they got from Colin Powell last week...
