2. explanation
Ok, they are discussing Bush's "new" initiative to democratize the middle east (we know the PNAC have been pushing that for years). They read 4 emails on the air, all negative towards the Bush speech. One said "we will be able to tell our grandchildren that we all remember where we were when president Bush lost his mind"

One of the talking heads went on to remark that there was no mention of WMD in the speech, as if that issue no longer mattered. Whoa!

10. Cafferty pisses me off
I suppose that is his role on the show.

He sits and chides anyone who doesn't jump up and down and cheer Bush when 125,000 new jobs is called a SURGE by the White House press office, then gets irate when the stories of the war folly hit, suddenly saying Bush isn't listening.

Jack, get a grip...you spin and campaign for the bastard on one day, then say he's an idiot on the next. Maybe if you be consistent on you message, you could influence a few people to see the light. Like all the wealthy white males, you want your tax cuts and perks, which means Bush, but you realize he's a criminal and the worst president in history...so it must cause you great consternation as you're driving to the bank.

Aszhole.

11. (Off topic) I was wondering if the helo could have gone down
because of mechanical failure related to unavailability of replacement parts, dealing with sand, etc, and cannibalism of parts. But then I heard NBC News report on a possible RPG sighting immediately before it went down.

Either way, I guess it is no comfort to the families of those soldiers who were killed in this bogus war.

Death count? 389? Higher?

Sorry to go off topic on CNN, but I hate those people.

13. Death Toll Now Nearing 400...
along with the over 7700 injured being treated at the gym at Ramstein and at Landstuhl Army Hospital.
So many hands, arms, legs gone along with many serious head injuries.

Bet the troops are glad the combat thingy is over.

"...so it must cause you great consternation as you're driving to the bank."

Let's not mention Jack and driving in the same sentence. Jack likes to mow down NYC pedestrians while driving drunk.
