This guy is really pushing it
Charles Dharapak, a photographer for AP, insists on "deifying" pResident Pinhead in his photos. Here's a link to his most recent one: http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/031030/480/cdh10310300210

I'm sure many of you remember the earlier "halo Bush" photo, which someone has enshrined over at Freeperland: http://209.157.64.200/focus/f-news/1001869/posts

I'm getting pretty disgusted with the whole thing and I've already written to AP about it (I consider myself a Christian and I find it pretty deplorable).

Here's the URL for AP's contact info, if anyone else feels like having a go at them: http://www.ap.org/pages/aptoday/aptoday_contact.html

1. completely staged...
I'd be not in the least bit shocked if the * spin machine asked photographers to look for situations like this.

2. It's the same guy who took both photos?
It's really sick, blatant, excessive propoganda...

3. I suspect
that the guy pushing it is the photo editor who decides what goes to print.

The photographer probably took several dozen photos at a minimum. Unless I am wrong, the editors choose what goes to print.

5. how do we contact that editor to complain?
Anyone know how we can get in touch with the photo editor then? This is a really disturbing trend, to say the least.

9. Keep em coming
Because they will either piss people off and/or subversive graphic artists like MoPaul can have a field day with these images.

I consider them a gift for us to make the best use of.

11. That's a good point.
But it's scary to contemplate how many people might not see anything wrong with those photos and consider the pinhead as "the annointed one" or whatever...

10. Sick, sick, sick! He has to believe that he is the true messiah.
These photos prove, (as if we didn't already know) that * is psychologically twisted. No sane person would allow this. I am becoming convinced that he truly believes he is the real messiah. We are in far more danger than I thought

12. Didn't the prophecies
say that the anti-christ would claim to be the christ? Who ever thought that Georgie would be the fulfillment of anything, no less a major prophecy and that all the religous fundies would be so easily deceived?

15. Yup.
Not sure I'm an "endtimer" but Bush sure is "anti-Christ" in the way he views the world (greedy, war-mongering, poor-bashing, etc.). And yes, his policies do seem to be pushing us towards world-wide chaos. And yes, a lot of so-called Christians are being deceived by him, as well as other right wing whackjobs like Falwell, Robertson, General what's-his-face, etc.

19. Also...
didn't he say he felt that God told him to run for office, and that God told him to bomb Afghanistan, and Iraq?

And didn't Jack Van Impe say he was called to a meeting with Bush and the NSA?

I hope this is all just making mountains out of molehills, but it doesn't look good at all.

13. I dunno, I like that one
Look at Bush's face, he looks insane (more than usual) and also looks like he's talking with his hand. I rated it highly. The first time I saw it I didn't even notice the crown-like lights on top of it, i was riveted by his face. So IMHO this particular photo is great.

18. Here's what I sent to AP...already wrote to CNN when the
first one, with the halo, appeared.

"I have recently been offended by two photographs by Charles Dharapak. Both are deceitful and slanted towards the so-called ‘Christian Right’. The first appeared on the CNN website, featuring Bush with what appeared to be a ‘halo’; thereby, visually conferring some sort of divinity to him. The worst appears today, on Yahoo, showing his ‘holiness’ standing in front of a cross and a heavenly crown above his head. G.W. Bush is a war-mongering, money-grabbing, back-stabbing, hypocrite. Please ‘knock off’ these photographs that serve no other purpose than that of propaganda."

20. Dharpak is a Bushevik, perhaps a Mockingbird
Just doin' his "patriotic duty" for God, King, and Empire...

:puke:

And how many just like him, editors and photogs, newswriters, etc. are there in the Confederate Broederbund of Busheviks, sneaking in Democrat instead of Democratic, and all manner of others.

Quite frightening and enraging...
