Let me explain the "Zell Miller" Democrats.
I watched Carolyn McCarthy also on CSPAN this morning. Their rhetoric is reaching an almost hysterical pitch when it comes to the Iraq War, *, and reconstruction. Here's why.

They supported this war. Most of them bought into it hook, line, and sinker. If they are now proven wrong, then they are responsible for tens of thousands of Iraqis maimed and killed, 2 thousand US military injuries, which include legless, eyeless, armless, and brain damaged Americans, the death of 350 US soldiers, airmen, and marines, hundreds of billions of unnecessary US debt, and the alienation of our allies throughout the world.

If they are proven wrong, the weight of what they have done is a huge burden for them to bear. Therefore, they continue with this charade of righteousness, because if they ever admit it was the wrong thing to do, then they must take responsibility.

4. I watched it...
...and you couldn't tell McCarthy from her GOP counterpart on many issues...especially Iraq. Everyone in DC is in Cover Your Ass mode.

5. Oh that woman was the WORST on CSPAN this morning.
Got my blood boiling early in the morning. The Republican lady had an Iraq blog, like she was actually able to get a good picture of what was happening there by visiting Mosul and then being shipped off to Kuwait every night. I wanted someone to call in and say that if you really want to read a blog about what's taking place in Iraq, check out Riverbend's blog. Not many called them on the carpet about their obvious sensationalized rhetoric either. Except one man who asked them if their Pentagon handlers told them about the rights that women had under Saddam. Anyway, it just upsets me that there is such little opposition to the Bush* Doctrine in Congress.

10. They both made me sick to watch.
How much devastation was there even in Mosul? It's in the north and was operating with their own economy, schools, and hospitals; all outside of Saddam's control.

11. Perhaps the most deadly of the seven.
Pride. I'm sure that Zell had a "special" connection to victory given that he's from Georgia. A lot of military there.

7. History has already condemned them.
We should find new candidates--reject and replace as many of these criminals as we can.

9. They can deny their culpability all they want
They actively supported two illegal invasions and murdered tens of thousands when the truth was being shouted from the rooftops by independent reporters, the UN inspectors, spook organizations from around the world and our very own CIA, foreign reporters everywhere....all were saying that Saddam was not a threat and the Iraqis did not want us there. THEY chose to perpetuate baseless lies and they will pay the price for treason and war crimes.

14. It's Not Just Zell Miller Democrats, It's All Pro-War Supporters
They're either not talking about the war at all or they're becomin shrill in its defense even though it's a bloody mess. How can anyone with a conscience support watching people die in a war for no good reason.

15. These people will never admit to being wrong
They are still cheerleaders of the invasion and have endorsed Bush's switch from "the disarming of Iraq has begun" to the "the world is better off with Saddam gone."

They oppose the immediate withdrawal of troops from Iraq, preferring to endorse the failed Vietnam-era policy of "peace with honor."
