Jay Rockefeller (D) can cry me a river over his Iraq vote
It's too late now, sad sack. You provided no rebuttal for this insane decision.

Rockefeller visited our troops in the Middle East over the summer and reported back, "I don't see any morale problem here."

Nearly half of the troops surveyed said they do not plan to re-enlist.

1. I support his anti-administration stance now, but yes I agree. Also...
are these politicians soo stupid as to think that sad sack Gomer Pyle is going to lay it out all on the table as far as how things are f**ked up?

These guys aren't going to say a damned thing to you Mr. Rockefeller. Are you THAT stupid?

They have to remain in Iraq. Remain in their unit. Have to take orders from their commanding officer. If Gomer were to spew off to you about how bad things are, do you think that he wouldn't suffer repercussions because he did that?

2. he's a twit
He's whining now about the partisan nature of the Senate Intelligence Committee's investigation into the pre-war intelligence, but when he had the opportunity - a little more than a week ago - he voted against an amendment to the 87B giveaway to establish an independent, non-partisan panel to investigate. Said that the SIC could do it all in a non-political way.

This was perhaps 9 days ago. He didn't know what was in his own committee's report, but he stood up and advised Senate Democrats to vote against the amendment. And NOW he complains that it's a partisan document?

Brilliant.
