Poll question: How many people attend their local council meetings/school boards, etc
Being a media person, I'm always interested to know how many people attend or otherwise view meetings at a local level. If you do, have you thought about audio or video recording them to share?

1. it depends on the issue that's being discussed-
If I want to speak, I'd attend in person. If I'm happy just watching what others have to say on an issue, I'll watch from home on local access.

2. I have done both
I usually watch city council meetings on the local access t.v. station. I attend in person if the issue is one I'm interested in speaking about.

When my child was in school, I attended all the school board meetings.

I never recorded any since they are aired live on local access.

3. The last school board meeting I went to
was last year with a friend's mother, the issue being school uniforms. That was a very interesting debate.

4. Wish I could, but they hold 'em right at 5 or 6 p.m.
Who can race across town in this traffic from work to make it on time?

They really should hold 'em later. :grr:
