I don't care. (okay, maybe a little. that's not the point.) Probably doesn't matter in the least.

What I DO want to know is this - how many terrorist plots has it foiled?
How many bad people are in jail? How many will be able to get off because it was an illegal search? How many millions will it cost us because all these cases will be thrown out? How many man hours have we spent on this illegal program? How many real bad guys could we have put away with that money and time? HOW MANY?

I suspect it is as low as the number of people who have been tried and convicted for terrorism with the Patriot Act, which is like... ZERO.

They spied on us, took away our Fourth Amendment rights and I DON'T FEEL ANY SAFER BUSH!!

1. ...and how many of these searches would not the secret court
have given search warrants for anyway? Was there a backlog of cases that the secret court failed to recognize for searches?...'secret court', what a mess.

2. I get the impression that's why the judge resigned...
This makes a complete mockery of our whole justice system.

3. Great rant, and considering how incompetent these idiots
have proved themselves to be in the past, I don't think they would even get this right. The wrong people are probably in jail and the "real terrorists" are probably still in the midst of us free to come and go as they choose.

4. I DO want to know who is on the list
I betch there's a very good possibility there is not one
