14. Aliens Land On June 25th and Reclaim *, Rove and Cheney
It turns out that Lynne Cheney is the head alien and has plotted out the last fourty years of political chaos in this country as a test to see how much ugliness human beings can endure.

Mrs. Cheney's long psychological study concluded, the entire crew takes off, but not before she gives a longwinded, bizarre farewell speech from the steps of the spaceship, invoking Reagan, Kierkegaard, Sophocles and Udumombutarankor, apparently the pre eminent philosopher of their home planet.

3. 11 months is a lifetime in politics, but '06 has strong potential
to be a Democratic year IF the Democrats continue to fight the way they have been of late. Yesterday was a great day in congress. We stood the line on spending cuts--every Democrat opposed them and they would have failed if we had another vote. Drilling in Alaska failed, and the Patriot Bill was stalled and approved for only six more months with concessions by Bush.

Here are some individual forcasts:

Arnold will be defeated as California Gropernator.
incumbent Republican Senators in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Missouri will be defeated.
Dems will gain 4-5 Governorships.

4. 'Lican congressional and gubernatorial candidates . . .
Edited on Thu Dec-22-05 09:34 AM by MrModerate
Do VERY well in 2006 amid claims that voting was rigged. Voting machine vendor techies start coming out of the woods admitting they've been cooking the books for the last 5-10 years and many newly elected 'Licans have to resign (their places typically taken by other 'Licans, of course). Voting machine CEOs do the perp walk in substantial numbers, and the authority of the pubbies in Congress all but disappears: Stevens dies/retires, and GW can't get a nominee through a dysfunctional, howling Senate; the position goes unfilled.

Meanwhile, impeachment winds continue to swirl around Bush, drowning out anything else he has to say.

Iraq comes apart in three pieces; Turkey immediately occupies Kurdistan and finds itself quagmired big time. Europe tells Turkey to go jump: "No EU for you!"

Cheney is indicted by Fitz's Grand Jury in Dec., 2006 and resigns; Rudy Giuliani accepts Veep role. Bush resigns in April 2007.

6. a large MIHOP a month before the elections.
Democrats will be scoring huge in the polls, Bushco will get concerned, stage a nuclear attack on our soil, blame Iran and Syria, and off we go to another fabricated war.
The elections might still be held, but look for martial law to be declared immediately afterwards and dispensing with govt. as we know it.
There will be no 2008 elections.

UNLESS...

Fitzgerald and other men of conscience stop the juggernaut through legal means, the neocons temper their agenda, and support the DLC candidate (Hillary or Lieberman), diebold them into office, lulling the populace to sleep with a sigh of relief and continue to work their behind the scenes agenda of world domination.

7. Frist & Delay retires their seats
Edited on Thu Dec-22-05 09:51 AM by insane_cratic_gal
W & Cheney both are removed from the white house to the big house.

Rove trades in his Suits for a orange jump suit and bedmate is Libby.

The corporate media suffers the backlash of the country and 24 hr news shows are seen to be what they are, Dramatic television and Propaganda. The whole lot of CNN is fired. (wishful thinking I know)

8. martial law
worse case scenario. Disaster early 2006 and then martial law. Everything goes haywire, no elections, draft for invasion of Iran and Syria beginning of a long WW and unrest at home. Bush and Cheney still in place but people are angry, riots in the streets, lack of food, fuel......

hope it was all a nightmare....

11. Repukes stay in control despite close races.
The predictions will be different than the outcome, but we are used to rigged elections by now so no big deal. The Dems will condem the process and the Repukes will do a 'ohmygosh, well darn maybe next time'. Hagel will be POTUS in 2008, just you watch.

12. Okay...
2006

CARDS 1, 2, 3. PRESENT ENVIRONMENT – Every-time the Queen of Swords comes up, I have been trying to associate it with an individual. I now believe it represents the American people. We are at the tipping point. Many people are now questioning the spin. They are beginning to seek the truth, and the truth is changing minds and hearts.

CARDS 4, 5, 6. ELEMENTS OF THE QUESTION – The collapse of leadership and governmental structure will require us to work together, dems, repubs, and independents.
Only by working together and including all can we get back on track.

CARDS 7, 8, 9. OBSTACLES TO BE SURMOUNTED / HOW SURMOUNTED – spins, lies and distortions of the truth. Unwillingness to sacrifice own well-being for the greater good. Materialistic, consumer driven attitudes. I fear that it will be a tough fight, and the Sheeple will have to be (gently but firmly) dragged kicking and bleating away from the Kool-aid trough.

CARDS 10, 11, 12. WHAT WILL COME UNBIDDEN – General feeling of disillusionment, lost faith in all that we have been taught our country stands for.
Temperance gives us some hope… When illness or dis-ease is a concern, Temperance holds out the promise of vitality and well-being.

CARDS 13, 14, 15. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO ACHIEVE – The cards seem to indicate we will still be hard at it, trying to get the government we want and deserve.
Use the light of the Star to guide you in your efforts.

Sail, sail thy best, ship of Democracy,
Of value is thy freight, ‘tis not the Present only,
The Past is also stored in thee,
Thou holdest not the venture of thyself alone,
Earth’s resume entire floats on thy keel O ship,
is steadied by thy spars,
With thee Time voyages in trust,
the antecedent nations sink or swim with thee.

Walt Whitman
“Thou Mother with Thy Equal Brood,” 1872

WE are that precious freight, together. Earth’s resume entire.

15. An NSA whistleblower
will go public with the startling revelation, which surfaces during NSA's illegal spying activities, of the true nature of W and Condi's relationship. Bush and Condi will disappear into the night, and the spin will be that they were "raptured".

The only question left at this point is whether or not their kool-aid drinking "base" will buy it. You make the call.
