WHERE is the Democratic Response ?
NO, Joe Biden doesn't cut it. Where is Reid, Feingold, Dean?

WHERE is the Democratic response?

Did I miss it? Please tell me I missed it.

1. I saw Barney Frank on MSNBC -
he was being grilled by Tucker Carlson; didn't inspire me much (sorry).

Barney was masterful - gave a real good smackdown to bowtie boy.
It was priceless.

Bowtieboy tried to interrupt and change the subject and every time the Honerable Congressman would just stop and sit there until bowtieboy realized what was happening, and then would scold him on his rudeness and tactics, and then proceed to give his thoughful response.

It was truly masterful. Barney knows how to control the dialog, no matter what the repuke shills try to do.

All democrats should watch this one and learn.

5. Because Bush set a trap tonight-
if we come out screaming, the repugs will accuse us of defeatism.

We will be hearing the word defeatism more and more.
This is obviously their new strategy.

6. Yeah, "Don't give into Defeatism". Your right. A new way to say
"Stay the course". I want to know how he defines victory.

Defeatist.

That is NO excuse for no Democratic response. They could and should have come back with a response. You CAN'T tell me Dean couldn't have dealt with this AND/OR Reid/Feingold, et al. Dean - who wrote the forward for Don't Think of an Elephant - couldn't respond?

Huh.

11. Can't they just recycle the response from the last speech?
Or did he vary from the same bullshit he's been spewing for the last several years?

Sorry, I didn't watch the speech. Masochism just isn't my thing.

13. Barney Frank let us in on the secret
When Tucker asked what his leadership thought, Frank said he should invite them on his show! They can't appear on these shows if the news media doesn't want them on...
