Has anyone heard anything recently about that group camped
outside of Guatanamo prison, on the Cuban side, who are on a hunger strike?

2. I don't know where I originally read it, and a search pulls up nothing.
I thought I read they were quakers.

Tuesday night - Witness Against Torture continues to fast, pray and wait outside of the US Naval Base at Guantanamo. During a press conference today, 79 year old Sister Anne Montgomery, a ten year veteran of Christian Peacemaker Teams in Iraq, made an appeal to the Iraqi captors that today threaten other Christian Peacemakers with execution. Witness Against Torture's Gary Ashbeck again placed a phone call to the base requesting access and was again rebuffed. What ever happened to George Bush's generous invitation that those who are concerned about Guantanamo should "go down yourself... and take a look at the conditions"? The press conference was held at the Cuban gate, 9 miles from the detention camps.
