This was written back in June '05 but is new to me. I have often wondered about those agencies who have posted that the effects of DUO poisoning are NOT hazardous as some have suggested. This is addressed here in part.

1. DU is becoming more visible because of scientists speaking out.

Two states (LA & CT?) have laws on the books that returning veterans will be tested for DU poisoning. MA has a draft bill in the works. Various organizations including Military Families Speak Out and the Veterans For peace are quite active in educating the public and pushing for legislation.

Depleted uranium is the Agent Orange of the 21st century.
