1. GOP: Spin and Lie on Iraq
I heard Rumsfeld himself tell Jim Lehrer last night that they were planning to withdraw 20K troops next year, if the elections turn out. How much you wanna bet that the GOP will say that the elections went off just fine?

2. Republicans: Delusion and Death on Iraq
Wasn't Reagan on Beirut the original retreat and defeat kind of guy, by their standards?

All Republicans were born yesterday.

3. This is to get coward democrats
to distance themselves from anyone in our party questioning this war so the pukes can, again, conquer our party through division. It will appear as democratic waffling to a dumbed down populace, as well as strengthening the president's dishonest positions by having people think "reasonable democrats" agree with the war party.

6. It an attempt to eliminate all free speech
We have not had free speech since 9-11. What has resulted, death by torture, illegal imprisonment, seizing foreign nationals in their home country and transporting them to
be tortured, the greatest military blunder in 2000 years, the loss of a major U.S.
city from incompetence. We should not let them get away with this. How can we not
get a billboard to criticize the outrageuos behavior of Jean Schmidt, yet they can
air these scurrilous attacks.

5. So how will we respond?
Denial? Or turn it right back on them? Are our party leaders up to this fight or will they take the advice of the DLC and abandon any association with antiwar Democrats? Will they stand on the sidelines chanting "Stay and Die" while the Republicans maneuver for the 06 elections as the party that brought our troops home? This could get very interesting.

9. We now have Howard Stern
He's more influential than all their faux news pros. He ripped O'Reilly a new one the other
night. The only answer is to speak up, if you have a republican congressman, write him and
tell him that you are not impressed by this swill and are less likely to vote for him because he represents the Hate Party.

8. Weak as far as I'm concerned. If this is all they can come up with
now.Kerry's words were obviously twisted. This is just directed at their stupid base who still beleive the Bush team really know what their doing. Actually, the administration is winging it and the Dem's are calling them out on it. Retreat and Defeat-we are fighting other Iraqi's mostly Sunni's. Removing a lot of the antagonists (our soldiers) would benefit the country. They are again misleading there own supports by not leveling with them and making them think this is a simple as the good guy's vs the bad guys. They must really think their supports are ignorant. This ad actually insults the intelligence of all who watch it.

10. It reminds of Arnold
If you listen to him talk it usually a one-line like "girlie men." You notice that
government leadership in the last 5 years consists of 3 words like "smoke 'em out, alive or dead, bring 'em on, Retreat or Defeat, tax cuts-ummm, I had to add a word to make it qualify.

12. How about we support John Murtha?
http://www.dccc.org/get_involved/petitions/murtha/

"America wants and deserves real answers on Iraq: What is the clear definition of success? Is there a plan? How much longer and how many more lives? In short, what is the end game?

Because we in Congress are charged with overseeing the safety of our sons and daughters when the president sends them into battle, it is our responsibility, our obligation to speak out for them. This obligation has not been met. That's why I am speaking out now.

I offered a concrete plan to get our troops out of harm's way, where they have become the target. I don't expect every member of Congress to agree with my specific proposal in this debate - but I do expect them to take part in that debate, not to squash it.

I am asking you to join me in demanding a real discussion of the war in Iraq from the U.S. House of Representatives.

Tell Congress to Have an Honest Debate For the Safety of Our Troops."

15. When 60% of the Country Thinks We Should Get Out Of Iraq
Something like this can only backfire. Most of the country is in the same boat as the Dems now.
