Masters of Horror.........spoiler
I saw this film on Showtime this weekend. Evidently it's a new series and they have a different story every week. And of course, it's of the horror genre but this week's show also dealt with an election (which is why I decided to watch it).

So if you plan on seeing that show (titled Homecoming), you might want to stop reading this message now. I wouldn't want to spoil it for you if you plan on watching it.

It took place during a Presidential election and the incumbent President had many things in common with Bush!! They had all of the usual slogans..........4 more yrs, stay the course and mission accomplished. They even had a blonde journalist who reminded me of Ann Coulter, she was always insulting liberals and was just generally a bitch.

There was also a war going on.........as in the current administration. And they also had a grieving mother of a fallen soldier who was a lot like Cindy Sheehan. And she was trying to get the President to tell her why her son died.

Anyway, during the course of the election, some zombies began showing up and generally looking scary and threatening. The zombies were all people who had died in the war and now the zombies wanted to vote in the election. They knew the zombies would not vote for the incumbent (since they died due to the war) so at first, they didn't want them to vote. But they couldn't figure out how to prevent a dead soldier from voting.........so they decided to let them vote anyway.

So on election day the zombies voted. Then after the zombies voted, they died again and went back to their graves and life went back to normal.

When the votes were counted, in much the same as our last Presidential election, they didn't count the votes correctly and the incumbent remained in power. And when that happened the zombies came back and terrorized the country again!!

It was a very clever story...........and a lot of fun to watch!! Anyway, I thought you guys might like to hear the story..........

I did start to cry during that scene. With everything else that was going on at the time, these 2 people opened their hearts to this guy! They basically just wanted to make him comfortable.

And the dog was a nice touch too..........

2. Definately worth watching
It was very clever and definately aimed at Bushco. Very sad though seeing the soldiers like that.

10. I was touched by the part with the zombie walking in the rain........
...a man looked outside and brought him inside and told a story about how his son was in the war too and how they had a great deal of respect for anyone in that position. Then his wife came over and talked to the boy in a loving way and put her hand on him.

I thought it was a very touching scene..............

8. Her name is Thea Gill
I googled and she was in Queer as Folk.

She played Ann Coulter to a T. She was exactly what you'd think Ann is when the cameras aren't rolling. She wore the inappropriate outfits on TV complete with go-go boots, was freaky in bed, completely narcissistic. I give Thea's performance two thumbs up

16. yep! that's her!
She did a great job playing Coulter!!

I definitely hated her and loved it when she died! I'm assuming that was her goal.........to get people to hate her. So yes, she did a great job.......

11. yeah, I taped it too..........
.......mainly because I told a friend of mine about it and she wants to see it so I'm going to loan her the tape.

I hated the Ann Coulter bitch. Actually I watched the last part of the program on friday and then Saturday I taped the whole show for my friend. When I was able to see the whole thing, I was glad to see the guy killed her!!

When they realized the zombies wanted to vote, they were saying that the Zombies had very little brain activity and wondered if that should have an effect on their voting priviledges. The Ann Coulter person said the zombies had the same IQ as a liberal!

That's when I knew she was supposed to be Ann Coulter..................

12. I, highly, recommend it!
Even if you don't like horror films, I bet you will like this one!!

Like I said, the only reason why I decided to watch it was because it dealt with a Presidential election. However, at that time, I didn't know it would be so directed at Bush...........that was just a pleasant surprise!

18. Showtime sent a powerful message.
I truly hope that more people watch that one.

In the end ALL war vets came up from the grave to oppose the incumbent, which looked and sounded a lot like the Chimp.
That was AWESOME!
