Need help finding a Christmas vs. holidays link
There was a link to a blog entry here recently that gave a true Christian's view on this debate, calling out his fellow Christians. It had excellent commentary on how Christmas stands with biblical interpretation, discusses its pagan roots and how Puritans forbid it.

It was so well done that I wanted to use it as a response but forgot to bookmark it.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Do you have the link?

4. No, that's not it
It was a link to a blog entry written by a conservative. On the talk back section, it had comments from Wiccans and pagans thanking him for setting the record straight on the origins of Christmas.

But, it's still a pretty good link. Thanks.

3. I wrote some stuff in this link
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=214&topic_id=38651&mesg_id=38657

there is a lot of material in Wikipedia. What amazes me is how this can take such proportions in the US, while it's a non-issue in Europe with 470 millions "Christians".

The only explanation I have is that Xmas is mostly seen as a secular event in Europe, even if the religious part is non-negligible of course. Muslims or Jews don't have any problem with it.
