This was during his rambling and false promises "speech" on the subject of AIDS, during World AIDS Day.

"We are a generous country, we have always reached out to feed the poor, rescue the captive and help the sick."

YOU FUCKING LIAR...WHAT ABOUT NEW ORLEANS YOU LYING FUCKER? HUH?

There were TENS OF THOUSANDS of POOR people who were STARVING in New Orleans for six days and six nights...There were TENS OF THOUSANDS of people who were stuck and CAPTIVE in New Orleans for six days and six nights...There were TENS OF THOUSANDS of SICK people who were DYING in New Orleans for six days and six nights.

DID you help THEM? Were you generous to THEM? Or did you say FUCK 'EM I'm off to do two fundraisers, play the guitar and eat cake with John Fucking McCain?

Yeah, we know the answer, we saw it...and we saw what you didn't do...and we WON'T forget.

On Edit: Spelling error.

You know the out and out lies from this waste of space, REALLY irritate me.

1. He's Right Though.
We are an incredibly generous country. I am damn proud of that.

The adminstration, however, are a bunch of selfish murderous mother fuckers, but that's a different story.

He was talking about our country, and in the context he was right. A couple'o jerkoff fuckfaces in the whitehouse does not a country make :)

2. Yeah, well I DON'T want HIM talking about it...he should shut up and
Fuck off to ANOTHER fundraiser.

I don't want his dirty, lying, blaspheming, rancid, Coke Jawing mouth saying THESE things...he's a liar and he's a hypocrite.

President Clinton SHOULD have given that speech today, the World AIDS Program people LOVE him, they'd have invited him to give a speech that ran at the SAME time as the Psycho Killer that's squatting in the WH gave his "speech"

3. I hope everybody thought the same thing you did when they heard it
I hope Katrina's images, as horrible as they were, remain implanted in people's memories forever.

4. Yes, because a lot of people ARE forgetting about this
How could he stand there and come out with such...obscenity.

After what happened in New Orleans...and after we saw that he just LEFT those people to die...to either drown or starve...and yet he says what he did today.

And the mediawhores just let him get away with it AGAIN.

6. don't forget, it isn't JUST NOLA--a large swath of mississipi was
destroyed as well, and even less attention is being paid to the people and destruction there.

c-span did have lengthy coverage of the NOLA town hall meeting today, so at least they are not being totally forgotten.

7. I know, I'm sorry. But New Orleans is going to HAUNT me for a LONG time
It just is. I know that Southern Mississippi got hit bad too. You know the Crescent City and seeing that for six days...it hurt me right down to my soul...in fact, I know that a part of my soul was destroyed during those six days.

My Grandmother, was born in the house that she's always lived in in the Garden District, my Momma grew up in that house.

What happened in NOLA to the people, they were OUR brothers and sisters, they were OUR people, they were a part of US...and, it made me feel ASHAMED to be a white person.

I felt ashamed to be WHITE...and that and those images will haunt me for years.

8. what went on in the entire gulf region is a tragedy and a hell that needs
to be laid at the feet of that entire rotten, corrupt, incompetent gang of thugs in washington. maybe we ought to put some of those unnamed corpses in the white house, or at least on the lawn? pictures of the corpses, the destruction, ought to follow these thugs everywhere, along with pics of the dead and wounded soldiers and iraqi civilians.

and right now, nobody is mentioning the fact that the money that was to have repaired the levees was funneled into iraq.

9. You're right.
We shouldn't assume that people have forgotten N. Orleans. It's still there. It's still the same ungodly mess.

People are just waiting for Washington to do something.

They'd better be patient.

14. Well before Nola
in our own country we were cutting any help to the poor and the hungry and the sick. The working poor are especially screwed, often getting no insurance and the government doesn't care. Medicaid keeps being cut.

Food stamps keep getting harder to get. We have ever more captives and while they are captive we offer nothing that will help them when they are set free.

We put hard working people in the position of begging when we fall on hard times but they can beg all they want really, the government isn't moved.

Those stranded by Katrina were captive too and surely felt abandoned. They were.

Yet bush is right, we did use to be more that kind of country but since he has come in we move further and further away.
