Halliburton is the only group that's been helped in Iraq

<snip>Like the Vietnam War, which was declared by our Congress based on bogus intelligence, the Iraq war came because our president used misleading intelligence.

The Bush-Cheney-Rove consortium insisted on taking over the Iraqi oil fields and floated a cloud of misinformation to the United Nations, Congress and the public.

It was not a lack of intelligence, either; the CIA was told to stay out of the decision-making.

Saddam Hussein had kept Osama bin Laden and al-Zarqawi and their terrorists out of Iraq, but with Hussein imprisoned, these terrorists came into Iraq to join the insurgents. This hornet's nest of agitators is crippling the Bush-Cheney dream of dominating the Iraqi oil fields.

It was, after all, smoke and mirrors to disguise the original aim of conquering Iraq for the oil. Who has profited so far, other than the Halliburton conglomerate?

2. Bechtel got a ton of money to rebuild the schools. You and I could
have done a better job. MCI got the cell phone system contract - even though they weren't into cell phones before that. A couple other companies got no-bid contracts too. Small ones.
